The BSBR sets aside funding for educational projects in all aspects of breast imaging. An educational bursary of up to £5,000 is made available for this each year. We welcome innovative proposals from National and International members for projects that support with education and training in breast radiology. These may be applied for individually or as a team. The bursary may be awarded to a single or multiple projects to a maximum of £5,000.
Please contact BSBR education lead, Trupti Kulkarni, trupti.kulkarni@mft.nhs.uk for further information.
Please submit education bursary applications as early as possible to ensure the Committee has time to consider and award accordingly. Applications must be emailed to the secretary, Tamara Suaris at t.suaris@nhs.net
The submitted education proposal should fully describe the project, to inlcude names of the BSBR members involved, timelines and a breakdown of how an award will be used. If awarded a bursary, you will be required to present your project at the subsequent BSBR ASM and submit a written report of the experience for publishing on the BSBR website upon the project's completion.
